The Captain’s name draws from a Danish Admiral who served as Commander in Chief of the Royal Siamese Navy in the service of King Chulalongkorn at the turn of the century. Many decorative items testify to the Scandinavian connections including a nearly two meters tall listing in the Pub of foreigners serving in the Siamese Navy from 1853-1962. Among the names, the Vikings are in majority and many interesting tales hide behind these names.
